About Us.

The LetsFamily Foundation was founded in June 2024 with the aim of providing expectant and young families with basic knowledge of the special features of first aid for young children. Emergencies are stressful situations, and every second can mean the difference between life and death. We want to help parents remain calm in these situations and take the right measures to save their children's lives.

Foundation purpose.

The foundation's purpose is to support and inform all parents of small children residing in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, i.e., those expecting a child or whose youngest child has not yet reached the age of six (hereinafter referred to as "beneficiaries"), and in particular to provide them with basic knowledge, guidance, and resources related to first aid for pregnant women, babies, and small children. The foundation operates on a non-profit basis and does not pursue profit-making or self-help purposes.

Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of experienced individuals from medicine, outpatient primary care and communications.

In our pediatric emergency practices, we deal with many young parents who have only very limited basic knowledge of pediatric emergencies and the correct behavior in such cases.

It is important to me to contribute to the LetsFamily Foundation by ensuring that young parents receive the best possible training so that they can confidently and correctly decide which emergencies require them to see a pediatrician and in which cases they can wait at home.

In the neurological department, we frequently encounter young patients who were delayed in receiving oxygen after a swimming accident. In many cases, this could have been avoided if basic life support had been initiated earlier.

It is important to me to contribute to the LetsFamily Foundation by teaching young parents basic first aid skills so that they can immediately and confidently take life-saving measures for their own and other people's children in emergency situations.

As a father of three children, I only realized late in life how important basic knowledge of first aid for children is—and especially how different it is from first aid for adults. I was extremely fortunate not to have found myself in an emergency situation with my children.

It is important to me to contribute with the LetsFamily Foundation to providing young families with guidance and resources on the topic of 'First Aid for Toddlers' with the help of our gift boxes.
